Si intitola “Scars to your beautiful” il nuovo singolo di Alessia Caracciolo, in arte Alessia Cara, astro nascente della scena pop internazionale. La giovanissima artista canadese di origine italiana, più precisamente di Reggio Calabria, sta ottenendo un notevole riscontro di critica e di pubblico in Nord America, ma anche nel resto del mondo.
Il brano, in rotazione radiofonica a partire da venerdì 2 dicembre, rappresenta il terzo estratto dal suo album di debutto “Know it all”, pubblicato dalla Universal Music Group a Novembre dello scorso anno, e segue il successo delle precedenti hit “Here” e “Wild things”, quest’ultimo lanciato nel nostro Paese in una versione eseguita in duetto con il rapper Fedez.

Nel videoclip ufficiale di “Scars to your beautiful”, diretto dal regista Aaron A, appaiono le immagini di persone che affrontano quotidianamente problemi similari, dalla lotta contro il cancro alla discriminazione nel sentirsi diversi e non accettati dal resto della società.
