Si intitola “Life goes on” il nuovo singolo di Fergie, popstar celebre per aver militato nei Black Eyed Peas.
Il brano, in rotazione radiofonica dal 6 gennaio 2017, anticipa l’uscita del suo secondo album da solista “Double dutchess”, di prossima pubblicazione, e segue l’uscita del precedente ed irriverente primo estratto “M.I.L.F. $”, rilasciato lo scorso luglio. Nonostante l’originalità, il pezzo non ha riscosso il successo sperato, non riuscendo ad andare oltre il 34esimo posto nella classifica americana Billboard Hot 100.
Eppure la sua carriera da solista era partita col botto nel 2006, con l’album di debutto intitolato “The dutchess”, dal quale sono stati estratti brani come “London bridge”, “Fergalicious”, “Glamorous” e “Big girls don’t dry”. La strategia di aspettare oltre dieci anni per l’uscita di un sequel, per il momento sembra non aver premiato l’artista americana.
