E’ in rotazione radiofonica a partire da oggi, venerdì 25 Novembre, il nuovo singolo di Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, in arte Lady Gaga. Il brano, presentato in anteprima mondiale dal vivo in occasione degli American Music Awards andati in scena domenica scorsa, si intitola “Million reasons” e rappresenta il secondo estratto dal quinto album dell’artista statunitense “Joanne“, pubblicato lo scorso Ottobre.
Sin dal primo ascolto, il pezzo si presenta diverso rispetto alle sue produzioni precedenti, allontanandosi da sonorità che più si avvicinano ad una pop star. Una balland in puro stile country, che punta a svelare un lato inedito di Lady Gaga, più intimo e meno commerciale. Frutto della penna dell’istrionica cantautrice, aiutata per l’occasione dalla giovanissima collega Hillary Lindsey e da Mark Ronson, noto per essere autore anche della hit mondiale Uptown funk, portata al successo con Bruno Mars.
Si apre una nuova epoca per Lady Gaga, fatta di introspezione e spiritualità: “Mi inchino a pregare – recita la traduzione del ritornello – cerco di far sembrare il peggio in meglio, Signore mostrami la strada per farmi strada attraverso la sua pelle usurata. Ho un centinaio di milioni di ragioni per andarmene ma ho solo bisogno di un buon motivo per rimanere”.
